NCCC Ride Leaders are chosen based on experience with the club. There are two primary additional requirements:
- Certified completion of a Smart Cycling course. Courses are described and offered at: https://sdbikecoalition.org/smart-cycling
- Approved by majority vote of NCCC Board of Directors

As an NCCC member, you can view the active member roster on any browser, anytime, including your phone on a ride. Just login to your NCCC membership account and click on the link under Active Resources. That will open a pdf file so you can contact ride leaders, any riding mate and their emergency contact.
